Fieldwork compliments each classroom's curriculum by providing physical experiences that enhance more traditional classroom learning.  Simply put, fieldwork takes the student out of the classroom and into the world, connecting classrooms learning with real-world issues.

On any given day, our students' learning explorations may take them outside the school grounds to do research in natural or historic areas, conduct interview in local businesses, observe art displays and theatrical performances, collect data, or carry out a range of other fieldwork assignments.  These fieldwork experiences differ from traditional field trips in that the expectation is that the fieldwork is directly connected to classroom learning.
